Overkill! alive on Quake Live

All business stuff has been completed so I guess it’s ok for me to post about it. My custom made Quake 3 Arena level Overkill! is one of the new maps on the Quake Live servers. A host of other community maps is also added, but mine is of course the one people have been waiting for🙂

Overkill! was the first custom level I created for Quake 3 Arena, somewhere in the year 2000.  I came from mapping for Quake 2 and technically Overkill! had some issues but the level struck a chord with players because of the use of space and the flow. Some of it was luck, some other parts worked out as planned. The technically improved Rocket Arena version is the one that is live.
